Britain’s Roberts wins 2024 Olympic sport climbing gold

Silver went to Japanese Sorato Anraku, bronze went to Austrian Jakob Schubert

On Olympic Games 2024 a set of medals was awarded in sport climbing Among men, gold was won by a 19-year-old representative of Great Britain Toby Roberts.

Silver went to Japanese Sorato Anraku, and bronze went to Austrian Jakub Schubert.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympic champion, Spaniard Alberto Gines Lopez, took only seventh place in Paris.

At the 2024 Olympic Games, Ukraine was also represented in sport climbing for the first time: Evgeniya Kazbekova took 15th place in the women’s competition in the semi-finals and was unable to advance to the top eight to participate in the final.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competitions will feature 329 sets of awards in 32 sports. Ukraine will be represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
