Vorskla midfielder talks about the match with Left Bank in the second round of the UPL

– Of course. For a long time we couldn’t break through the opponent’s defense. And already at the beginning of the second half, after a corner, I managed to score a goal. Yes, the Left Bank goalkeeper made a mistake. After that, more open football began, and we had more opportunities to take the opponent’s goal.

– Yes (laughs). That’s right.
— Soon you also became an assistant, making a pass to Kovtalyuk, although before that you slipped, but managed to get up from the grass in time.
— I was running and thinking – I don’t have the strength to run any further, I need to serve. Everything worked out well.
— Last season Vorskla rarely played to zero. Is this a big problem for your team?
– Yes. We try and we don’t always succeed. Today we were reliable in defense. We will improve in this component.
— You play your home matches at the Vorskla Butovsky stadium. Many UPL footballers say that your pitch is currently the worst in the Premier League. Is that true?
— Our lawn is not in perfect condition. This is if you compare it with the lawn at the Left Bank stadium. Our managers say they will look into this issue. We hope for improvement.
