A day earlier, he also became fourth, but in a duo with Alexey Korovashkov over a distance of 500 m in the two-man canoe race.
Canoeist Olesya Romasenko, in turn, did not reach the final in the 200 m distance.
The only medal for Russia was won by tennis players Mirra Andreeva and Diana Schneider – in the doubles competition.
All Russian athletes competed in Paris in neutral status. The games will end on August 11.
