Legendary Marta again left without Olympic gold, but won her third silver in her career

The US women’s team won Olympic gold for the fifth time. In three of the five finals, they beat Brazil. The legendary Brazilian Marta participated in all three of these finals (2004, 2008, 2024). For the 38-year-old athlete, this was the sixth Olympics, but she was still unable to win Olympic gold. Earlier this year, Marta announced the end of her international career.
The bronze medalist was the German team, which yesterday beat Spain (1:0) in the match for 3rd place.
