It took the Americans 0.1 seconds to break the Soviet team’s world record in the 4×400-meter relay.

The U.S. women’s team won the 4×400-meter relay in a continental record at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

The American athletes showed a result of 3 minutes 15.27 seconds. They were 0.1 seconds behind the world record set by the USSR team at the 1988 Games in Seoul – 3:15.17.

The Dutch team won silver over this distance (+4.23), with the leading trio completed by the Great Britain team (+4.55).

The Summer Olympics in the French capital will end on August 11.
