Georgian wrestler defeats Ukrainian Khotsyanovsky in first round

On Olympic Games 2024 Two more sets of awards were contested in Paris freestyle wrestling.

Representative of Uzbekistan Razambek Zhamalov won gold in the weight category up to 74 kg. In the final, he defeated Japanese Daichi Takatani 5:0.

Bronze medals were won by Kyle Douglas Dake and Chermen Aliev from Albania, who defeated Serbian Khetag Tsabolov (10:4) and Viktor Rassadin from Tajikistan (6:2), respectively.

Georgian Geno Petriashvili became the champion in the weight category up to 125 kg. It should be noted that in the first round he confidently defeated the Ukrainian Alexander Khotsyanovsky.

Silver went to Iranian Amir Hossein Zare. Bronze medals went to Azerbaijani Georgi Meshvildishvili and Taha Akgul from Turkey.

Today, Ukrainian Irina Kolyadenko won silver in the 62 kg category, losing in the final to Japanese Sakura Motoki.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will end on August 11. The competition will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
