Georgian weightlifter Lasha Talakhadze won the weightlifting competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
On Saturday, Talakhadze won in the weight category over 102 kg with a total result of 470 kg. The 30-year-old athlete won the third consecutive Games. Previously, he won gold medals at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo.
The second place was taken by the representative of Armenia Varazdat Lalayan (467 kg), the first three winners were closed by Gor Minasyan from Bahrain (461 kg).
The Olympic Games in the French capital will end on August 11.
