China’s Li Qian wins 2024 Olympic boxing gold in women’s 75kg weight category

Zhalolov from Uzbekistan became Olympic champion in the weight category over 92 kg among men

On Olympic Games 2024 a set of medals was awarded in boxing in the weight category up to 75 kg Among women, the gold was won by a Chinese woman Li Qian.

In the final, Li Qian defeated Panama’s Ateina Bilon. Bronze medals in this weight category were won by Caitlin Parker of Australia and Cindy Ngamba, who competes for the Olympic Refugee Team.

Also in Paris, a set of medals was contested in boxing in the weight category over 92 kg for men – the gold was won by a representative of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Zhalolovwho has already become a two-time Olympic champion (he also won the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo). In the final, Zhalolov defeated Spaniard Ayoub El-Aissawi by unanimous decision.

Bronze in the men’s 92 kg weight category was won by Raman Tifak from Germany and Abudu Moinze from France.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will end today, August 11. The competition will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
