– I’m of course happy. I didn’t particularly expect it, I just tried to jump for fun. One jump didn’t work out very well, but the rest went well. I’m happy.
— How did you prepare for this departure?
“I trained here for two weeks, tested the equipment and jumped.
— Did you like the new format of the competition?
— This is the first time we compete in this format. Very interesting.
– Is your projectile a tower?
— I jump both 3 meters and 10 meters. I managed to perform better from the tower.
— Why do you think the springboard didn’t work?
— Probably, I did not train much, I did not jump 3 meters much. I trained more on the platform, because of this, I performed worse on the springboard, “Kalashnikov told .
The competitions take place between men and women according to a specific program: jumps from a three-meter springboard, a 10-meter platform, as well as team competitions.
