Cyclist Brown escapes serious injury after keirin crash at 2024 Olympics

Cyclist Kwesi Brown, who is representing Trinidad and Tobago at the Paris Olympics, has escaped serious injury after crashing in a keirin, national cycling federation president Rowena Williams said.

An athlete collided with another athlete during the repechage race and fell to the track. Brown, who may have been knocked unconscious, was treated. Abrasions were visible on the athlete’s legs.

– Brown is doing well. The medical team did a great job. They quickly took an X-ray to make sure he had avoided overfishing and serious head injuries. He is walking and talking. “We want to thank the fans for their support,” Williams said in a video commentary released by the press office of the Trinidad and Tobago National Olympic Committee.

The Olympic Games in the French capital will end on August 11.
