Serbian men’s water polo team wins gold at third consecutive Olympics

The Serbian men’s water polo team beat Croatia in the final match of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The match ended with a score of 13:11.

The Serbian team won the third consecutive Olympic Games. For the first time in its history, the team won Olympic gold at the 2016 Games. In addition, the Yugoslav team won gold at the Olympic Games three times (1968, 1984, 1988).

In the match for third place, the American team proved to be stronger than the Hungarians – 8:8 (3:0 on penalties).

The Paris Olympics will end on August 11.
