Nasibov and Luzan to be Ukraine’s flag bearers at 2024 Olympic Games closing ceremony

The closing ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games will take place today, the start is at 22:00 Kyiv time

Greco-Roman wrestler Parviz Nasibov and canoeist Ludmila Luzan will be standard bearers Ukraine at the closing ceremony Olympic Games 2024.

In Paris, Nasibov won silver in Greco-Roman wrestling in the 67 kg weight category, and Lyudmila Luzan, paired with Anastasia Rybachok, also won silver in canoeing doubles at a distance of 500 meters.

Let us recall that at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games, swimmer Mikhail Romanchuk and tennis player Elina Svitolina were the flag bearers of Ukraine.

In total, the Ukrainian team won 12 medals at the 2024 Olympic Games: 3 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze.

The 2024 Olympic Games will end today, August 11. The closing ceremony will begin at 22:00 Kyiv time. Ukraine was represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports – this is the smallest representation of the blue and yellow during the Olympics.
