Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko had a poor start to the tournament qualification WTA 1000 in American Cincinnati.
Lesya lost to Spaniard Jessica Bousas Maneiro in two sets. The match lasted one hour and 18 minutes.
In the first set, the tennis player from Spain led 3:0, Lesya reduced the gap to a minimum, but then lost her serve at 2:4, which determined the fate of the set.
The second set did not bring any turning point to the game. The Ukrainian allowed her opponent to break twice, with Bousas Maneiro playing her own serve flawlessly. Again 2:6, and Tsurenko suffered her sixth defeat in her last seven matches.
