And almost immediately, Famalicao scored the second. With the defense completely unopposed, Mario Gonzalez received the ball in the center of the penalty area – and did not shoot himself, but rolled it back to Youssouf Zayda. He dealt with the Ukrainian goalkeeper with a technical strike.
It is worth noting that Benfica lost to Famalicao for the second time in 2024 (and with the same score). Roger Schmidt’s team started the season with an unexpected but deserved defeat.
