The Russian Cycling Federation (RFC) expressed condolences over the death of a young cyclist in the Donetsk People’s Republic after an accident with a truck.
Earlier, Acting Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the DPR Yuri Martynov said that on August 12, a KAMAZ hit a car of a group of athletes during a training race.
A total of eight children were injured, two of them in serious condition. On Tuesday, it was announced that one of the athletes had died.
