Athletistic/OI-2024. Australian four-time Olympic swimming champion Ariarne Titmus has criticised living conditions in the Olympic Village in Paris.

“The Olympic Village turned out to be far from what we had imagined. In our apartment, the bathroom is bigger than the bedroom for the four of us. The bed linen was only changed after the first night, then they stopped changing it altogether, so we lived in filth. When we ran out of toilet paper, we were given one roll for four days for the whole room,” Titmus told Australia’s Network 10.

At the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Ariarne Titmus set a new world record in the 200m freestyle with a time of 1:52.53.
