Russian show jumping champion Margarita Bazylyuk, from Eteri Tutberidze’s coaching staff, skated cleanly in her new performances. In the short program, the athlete demonstrated a complex combination of a triple axel and a triple toe loop, and in the free program she performed three quadruple jumps.
“I couldn’t skate anything for two weeks. Then I slowly started skating. I’m preparing myself for the fact that I have to show what I do in training,” Margarita is quoted by Channel One.
Russian championship winner Arseny Fedotov performed only one quadruple jump, and his main rival Lev Lazarev performed three quadruple jumps in the free skate.
