PSG thrash Le Havre away in French Ligue 1 opening match

Luis Enrique’s team put in a strong finish to the match

The opening match took place in France League 1 season 2024/25 — PSG defeated on the road Le Havre (4:1).

The match started off quite easily for the French champions – already in the 3rd minute, Lee Kang-in opened the scoring with a pass from Goncalo Ramos. Ramos himself was subsequently injured and was replaced by Randal Colo-Muani in the 20th minute.

Le Havre equalized immediately after the break, with a goal from defender Gautier Lloris. The score remained tied until the 85th minute, but then Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola scored, strengthening PSG’s play from the bench. Kolo-Muani made the score even bigger, converting a penalty in the 90th minute.

In the second round, Le Havre will play away against Saint-Etienne on August 24, and PSG will host Montpellier on August 23.
