Fenerbahce Interested in Loaning Ansu Fati

Fenerbahce representatives have already contacted the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes

Fenerbahce interested in loaning winger Barcelona Ansu Fati.

The player is reportedly very much liked by the Istanbul club’s coach Jose Mourinho, who wants to strengthen the team’s roster at the end of the transfer window.

Fenerbahce representatives have already contacted Fati’s agent Jorge Mendes to assess the possibility of loaning the winger.

Ansu Fati himself is currently recovering from a foot injury to his right leg. Because of this, the player did not go with Barcelona on a pre-season tour of the United States. The winger will be able to return to the field only in September.

Last season Fati played on loan at Brighton, where he never became a system-forming player. Ansu played 27 matches for Brighton in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

Fenerbahce have signed winger Allan Saint-Maximin on loan from Al-Ittihad this summer and have signed Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri for €18 million.

Jose Mourinho’s side were knocked out of the Champions League qualifiers this week by Lille. Fenerbahce’s next game is away to Goztepe in the Turkish Super League on August 17.
