Maxim Fedyaev won the 400-meter race at the Russian Athletics Championships.
Fedyaev covered the distance in 45.82 seconds. Roman Volodkin of Belarus finished second (45.94), Danil Veshnyakov third (45.95). Artem Araslanov took fourth place (46.05).
At a similar distance in women, Polina Tkalich won (50.14), the athlete fulfilled the Olympic standard, which is 50.95 seconds, and set a personal record. The second was the representative of Belarus Anna Mikhailova (51.59), Anna Sadovnicheva (52.17) closed the leading trio.
Alexey Khudyakov won the discus throw with a result of 63.40 meters. Gleb Sidorchenko finished second – 60.73, the third place was taken by Evgeniy Bogutsky from Belarus (60.10).
The competitions take place in Yekaterinburg.
