Athlete Maria Kochanova with the Olympic standard won the high jump competition at the Russian Championships in Yekaterinburg.
Kochanova showed a result of 1.97 meters, identical to the Olympic standard. Athletes who meet the Olympic standards in competitions receive one million rubles.
The Olympic champion took second place with a score of 1.91 m. Maria Lasitskene who beat Karina Demidik (1.91) of Belarus in attempts, as well as Daria Slepova (1.86).
