Kryvbas appealed to UEFA with a request to replace the Turkish referee Kardeshler, appointed for the match against Betis. The reason is the referee’s work at the match between the national teams of Russia and Serbia

The first match of the Conference League qualification playoff round between Kryvbas and Betis will take place on August 22

Krivbass contacted UEFA with a request to replace the Turkish referee Ardu Kardeshlerappointed for the match of the Krivoy Rog team against Betis in the first match of the qualifying playoff round Conference Leagues.

The reason for this was Kardashler’s work at a friendly match between the Russian and Serbian national teams, which took place in Moscow on March 21, 2024.

In this regard, Kryvbas considers the work of a Turkish referee at a match involving a Ukrainian club unacceptable. The Kryvyi Rih team also warned the UAF and the UAF Referees Committee regarding the current situation.

The first match between Kryvbas and Betis, which will be nominally “home” for the Ukrainian team, will take place on August 22 in Kosice, Slovakia. The start is 21:00 Kyiv time.
