Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Nikita Nagorny and his wife Daria Nagornaya (Spiridonova), silver medalist at the 2016 Olympic Games, held an open training session in Luzhniki as part of the festival-forum “Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030”.
Participants and gymnasts performed exercises to maintain their physical fitness. More than 100 people attended the training.
“We will show you how our Russian team warms up,” Nagorny said at the start of training.
At the Tokyo Olympics, Nagorny won gold in the team competition and bronze medals in the all-around and horizontal bar exercises. The 27-year-old gymnast also won team silver at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics and three victories at the 2019 World Championships. His wife Daria is the 2015 world champion and 2016 Olympic silver medalist.
