Olympic silver medalist Alexandra Troussova and figure skater Makar Ignatov got married, according to the athlete’s social network.
The video on the figure skater’s TikTok account shows Ignatov carrying Trusova out of the registry office with a bouquet in his hand, to the applause of the couple’s relatives and friends.
The engagement of Trusova, 20, and Ignatov, 24, became known in June. The couple’s wedding will take place on Saturday, August 17.
On Sunday, Trusova announced that she plans to take part in the Russian national team’s skating tests in September. The last time the athlete took part in tournaments was in 2022 and completely missed the 2023/24 season.
