Sergei Shubenkov, the 2015 world champion in the 110-meter hurdles, has expressed doubts about the favorable prospects for Russian athletes if Sebastian Coe, the current president of the International Association of Athletics Federations (World Athletics), becomes president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
“Coe has already announced his intention to run for the post of IOC president. If his plans come true, then, I fear, nothing good awaits Russia,” TASS quotes Shubenkov.
