Athletistic/OI-2024. Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC) President Pavel Rozhkov said that 90 Russian athletes had been allowed to participate in the Paris Games. However, questions have been raised regarding four Paralympic athletes.

“The final decision regarding the four athletes has not yet been made. They have passed the neutrality test, but some questions have arisen. Now we are cooperating with the embassy and the IPC to get the necessary answers,” Rozhkov was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.

On March 6, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) published the criteria according to which Russian Paralympic athletes will be able to participate in the Paris Games only in neutral status. They are prohibited from participating in the opening and closing ceremonies of the Paralympic Games, and their medals will not count towards the overall standings.
