Dynamo alumnus signs contract for next two seasons
Alexandria officially announced the addition of a midfielder Artem Kozak. The 26-year-old player signed a contract for the next two seasons – until the end of May 2026.
Let us recall that it was previously reported that Alexandria is the favorite in the fight for Kozak, who was also claimed by Krivbas.
On August 8, information appeared that Artem was put up for transfer by Polesie. Subsequently, the Zhitomir club officially announced the end of cooperation with the player.
Kozak is a Dynamo alumnus. He played for the youth teams of the White-Blues and Greek PAOK, Kyiv Arsenal, Karpaty, Chernomorets. In the summer of 2021, he became a player of Poliesia.
In the 2023/24 season, Artem played 29 matches for Volkov (in five of them he led the team into the game with the captain’s armband), scored four goals and made five assists.
This summer, Kozak took part in historic matches for Polesia in the Conference League qualification against Slovenian Olimpija (he played a total of 54 minutes). Let us recall that Imad Ashur’s team lost twice – 0:2, 1:2.
Alexandria today announced the parting of ways with another midfielder, Artur Avagimyan.
Ruslan Rotan’s team missed the first round of the new season, and then won two victories in a row – over LNZ (2:0) and Zorya (2:1). On August 24, the Alexandria team will host Shakhtar in a duel of leaders.
