Napoli officially announced the winger’s transfer Benfica David Neres.
It was previously reported that the Partenopei would pay 28 million euros for the player, including bonuses. The winger himself will earn 3 million euros per season under a contract that runs until the summer of 2028. There is an option to extend the contract until 2029.
The 27-year-old winger played 32 matches for Benfica in all competitions last season, scoring five goals and providing nine assists.
Let us recall that David Neres moved to Shakhtar from Ajax in the winter of 2022, but due to the start of a full-scale Russian invasion, he never made his debut for Shakhtar in official matches. In June 2022, Neres moved to Benfica, signing a five-year contract.
