Bellew: Usyk is the most technical boxer in history, but he will never be a true heavyweight

The Briton selected the best boxers in the heavyweight division.

WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk will fight Anthony Joshua for the second time.

British heavyweight Tony Bellew shared his opinion about the boxers ahead of the rematch. According to Tony, he worries about the athletes, because each of them retains his essence.

“Usyk will never be a true heavyweight, and Anthony Joshua always will be. So every time Usyk meets a true heavyweight like Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua, he’s in danger. So it’s always, but at the same time he was the most technical fighter in history. You can’t argue with that.”

The Briton said that the Ukrainian boxer is the best in the world in terms of technical performance.

“Technically, Usyk is the best in the world, there is no one more technically. Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight in the world because of his qualities, size and what he can do. But right now, technically, absolutely nobody can do to surpass Usyk,” said Tony Bellew in an interview with the YouTube channel iFL TV.

It will be remembered that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) at the Super Dome arena.

In the first match, which took place in September 2021, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by unanimous decision, winning the championship belt.
