The starting lineup has been announced Dynamo for the first match against the Austrian Salzburg in the qualifying playoff round Champions League 2024/25.
Head coach Alexander Shovkovskiy made only one change compared to the main team from a week ago in Glasgow. Summer newcomer Alexander Pikhalenok took the place of Vitaly Buyalskiy (who is not even on the bench). Vladislav Kabayev will play on the left flank of the attack again.
Dynamo: Buschan – Karavaev, Popov, Mikhavko, Dubinchak – Pikhalenok, Brazhko, Shaparenko – Yarmolenko, Vanat, Kabaev
Stock: Neshcheret, Vivcharenko, Voloshin, Rubchinsky, Lonveik, Andrievsky, Supryaga, Tymchik, Ceballos, Bilovar, Bragaru, Mikhailenko
The match, nominally home for the Kyivans, will take place in Lublin, Poland. The start is at 22:00. The match will be officiated by Swiss referee Sandro Scherer.
Let us recall that on the way to this stage, Shovkovskiy’s team beat Serbian Partizan (6:2, 3:0) and Scottish Rangers (1:1, 2:0). Salzburg in the third round of qualification was stronger than Dutch Twente (2:1, 3:3).
The return match is scheduled for the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg on August 27 (22:00 Kyiv time).
