Valieva was disqualified for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete lost all titles won in adult tournaments.
The skater’s disqualification expires in December 2025. In theory, Valieva can compete in the Olympic Games in Italy. Since the end of February 2022, Russian figure skaters have been suspended from international tournaments.
