On Wednesday, August 21, four matches were held as part of the qualifying playoffs Champions League 2024/25.

In the main match of the game day, Dynamo Kyiv lost to Salzburg (0:2). Young Boys snatched a victory over Galatasaray on their home field – 3:2, Sparta beat Malmo away (2:0), and Midtjylland tied with Slovan Bratislava – 1:1.

Let us recall that three more Champions League qualifying playoff matches were played on Tuesday, August 20. The return matches of the Champions League qualifying playoff round are scheduled for August 27 and 28.

Shakhtar, the 2023/24 UPL champion, will start straight from the group stage of the European Cup and will find out their opponents at the end of August.
