Max was born in Ukraine, but has lived in Luxembourg since childhood.
Ukrainian eSports organization FAVBET Team announced the transfer to the main roster of the CS2 team Max “Marix” Kugenerwho has been acting as a stand-in for the past two months.
Marix is a 21-year-old eSportsman who has been playing CS2 professionally for over 3 years and has played for teams such as OG, Genk, and Entropiq. Max was born in Ukraine, but has lived in Luxembourg since childhood.
In June of this year, Marix joined the FAVBET Team summer bootcamp, becoming the first player with European citizenship who agreed to come to Ukraine for training.
For the next two months, Marix played as a stand-in for FAVBET Team and played several tournaments with the team. In the end, he managed to take 3-4 in the Project Prodigy tournament and advance to the Elisa Invitational Fall.

Marix does not have Ukrainian citizenship, but at the same time he is a 100% Ukrainian player who shares our vision and values“, say the FAVBET Team.
With the addition of Marix, the updated FAVBET Team roster looks like this: Vladislav “bondik” Nechiporchuk, Evgeniy “j3kie” Sergachev, Alexander “Smash” Turchin, Daniil “t3ns1on” Kashura, Max “Marix” Kugener, Andrey “guthrie” Gavrish (benched). The team will play its next match on August 21 against Preasy as part of the closed qualifiers of CCT Season 2 Europe Series 10.
