Anderson Peters won the competition
Ukrainian track and field athlete Arthur Felfner became fourth in javelin throwing at the stage Diamond League 2024 in Swiss Lausanne.
In his second attempt, Felfner threw the javelin 83.38 meters and moved up to third place. However, the Ukrainian failed to maintain his position in the top 3. In his fifth attempt, Artur was overtaken by 2020 Olympic champion and 2024 silver medalist Neeraj Chopra from India.
Anderson Peters of Grenada won the competition in Lausanne. Chopra won silver, and German Julian Weber won bronze.
Let us recall that Felfner failed to reach the final of the 2024 Olympic Games, showing 15th place in the qualification.
Today, Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the Lausanne stage in high jump. Irina Gerashchenko took fifth place.
