Soligorski “Minor ” withdrew from the Russian Open Championship of the 2024/25 season among men’s teams, the press service of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation (VFV) reports.
“With its originality and thirst for victory, Victor Bekshi’s team literally fell in love with all the fans last season. We will miss you and look forward to seeing you again,” the VFW said in a statement.
The statement noted that no penalties will be applied to Shakhtar.
In the Russian Championship of the 2023/24 season, Shakhtar took eighth place in the preliminary stage and lost in the qualifying round of the playoffs to Krasnoyarsk Yenisei.
The new season of the Russian Volleyball Championship will start on September 4. 15 teams will participate in the tournament.
