The 25-year-old American signed a contract until 2026
Juventus officially extended his relationship with the midfielder Weston McKenney until June 30, 2026.
The American has been playing for Juventus since 2021. With the exception of half a season at Leeds (loan, 2023), McKennie was a stable player in the Turin club’s lineup. In total, he played 134 matches for the Zebrs, scoring 13 goals and making 15 assists.
In the 2023/24 season, Weston really came into his own as a playmaker, playing 38 matches (34 of which were in Serie A) and recording 10 assists.
At 25, McKennie has played 56 matches (11 goals, seven assists) for the US national team. He also took part in the 2024 Copa America, which was a failure for his team.
Juventus thrashed Como 3-0 in the first round of Serie A 2024/25 without McKennie. On Monday, August 26, the Bianconeri will travel to Verona.
