Athletistic/Figure Skating. Honored coach of Russia in figure skating Elena Buyanova announced her cooperation with Alena Kostornaya on an ongoing basis. Earlier, Kostornaya left Eteri Tutberidze’s group for the second time, after which she moved to Buyanova. Earlier in 2020, she left Tutberidze for Evgeni Plushenko. Under the guidance of Plushenko, she took second place at the Moscow Grand Prix stage, after which she withdrew from several competitions. Then, in the final of the Russian Cup, she took only sixth place and did not qualify for the World Championship. In March 2021, Kostornaya left Plushenko Academy and returned to Tutberidze. However, with Tutberidze she did not win a single tournament anymore. The best result is a second place at the French Grand Prix in 2021.
