Paris Saint-Germain destroy Montpellier in first home match of the season

Luis Enrique’s team has a goal difference of 10-1 after two rounds

Paris Saint-Germain rolled out mercilessly Montpellier in the home match of the second round League 1 — 6:0.

The champions were limited to two goals in the first half, scored by Bradley Barcola and Marco Asensio, assisted in both cases by Joao Neves, the summer newcomer having already made four assists in his two opening matches.

Shortly after the break, Barcola closed the game with a brace and his third goal of the season. Luis Enrique’s team did not rest on this and by the end of the hour the score had reached an indecent level. Lee Kang-in hammered the sixth nail into the cap, and Ousmane Dembele responded to Neves with his own “double assist”.

PSG started with two wins in a row with a total score of 10:1. Montpellier remains with one point after two rounds. In the next round, the Parisians will travel to Lille, and Michel Der-Zakarian’s team will host Nantes.
