Leicester sign Crystal Palace and Ghana forward Jordan Ayew

The Ghanaian forward previously played for Crystal Palace for five seasons

Leicester announced the transfer of the forward Crystal Palace Jordan Ayew.

The parties signed a two-year agreement. According to media reports, the transfer amounted to 8 million euros.

Jordan Ayew has been with Crystal Palace since 2019, and has also played for Swansea, Aston Villa, Lorient, Sochaux and Marseille.

Ayew has played 104 matches for the Ghana national team, scoring 28 goals. The 31-year-old forward took part in the 2014 and 2022 World Cups, as well as six African Cups.

Last season, the forward played 35 matches for Crystal Palace in the Premier League, scored 4 goals and made 7 assists. This season, Jordan Ayew came on as a substitute in the opening match against Brentford (1:2).

Leicester started their Premier League campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to Tottenham and will play their next game away to Fulham on August 24.
