Belgorodskoe “Belogory “defeated Moscow”Dynamo “during the first round match of the group stage of the Volleyball Legends Cup.
The match took place in Krasnoyarsk. Belogorye won with a score of 3:0 (25:14, 25:17, 25:20).
“Belogorye” and “Dynamo” play in Group B. In the next match, the Belgorod team will play with “Yenisei” from Krasnoyarsk, “Dynamo” will play with “Zenith” from St. Petersburg. The teams of the quartet will meet in the second round of the group stage in Moscow.
In Group A there are Kazan “Zenit”, Novosibirsk “Lokomotiv”, Kemerovo “Kuzbass” and Novy Urengoy “Fakel Yamal”. They will play the first round matches in Kazan, the second round matches will be held in Novosibirsk.
The teams finishing top two in their group will play in the Final Four. The prize fund of the Legends Cup is 10 million rubles; the tournament is part of the Russian Cup and will end in October.
