Luis Suarez scored twice
Inter Miami won on his home field FC Cincinnati in the regular championship MLSplaying the entire second half with a man down – 2:0.
The hosts opened the scoring in the first minute, Luis Suarez scored after a cross from the flank. The Uruguayan scored a double five minutes later, completing a quick attack by the team.
However, Inter were in trouble before the break. Tomas Aviles received two yellow cards in the first half and left the field. Inter fought off the visitors’ attacks for the rest of the time, managing to hold on to the winning score.
Ukrainian Sergey Krivtsov came on as a substitute at the very end of the match. For the defender, the match was the 19th for the club this year.
Inter Miami is comfortably leading the Eastern Conference of the MLS regular season, eight points ahead of Cincinnati. In their next match, Krivtsov’s team will play Chicago Fire on September 1.
