Sportswoman raffles off her costume and the opportunity to train together for donations
Ukrainian gymnast Victoria Onoprienko announced a collection for blood storage and transfusion kits. The equipment will go to the 5th separate tank brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
For a donation of 200 UAH, the gymnast will raffle off her tracksuit, in which she won the European Championship and took prize places in other competitions. Also, Victoria will meet and conduct an individual training with the one who makes the largest contribution.
“The costume was made precisely during the Great War. I fought with myself in it many times before going out on the carpet, because I received news about the losses of people close to my heart in the war, but I went out, fought and won. In this costume, I won many significant victories for Ukraine. It was in it that I won gold in wrestling at the European Championship and a license for the Olympic Games. It is charged with victory. It has been tested more than once. That is why I want the costume to prolong its life. Let the funds raised during the raffle help our defenders, male and female,” the gymnast said.
Onoprienko is collecting money from August 24 to 31 together with the 1+1 TV channel and the Solomenskie Kotiki foundation. The foundation is also additionally raffling off certificates for training in first aid among all donors.
Early in the morning of February 24, 2022, Russia launched a missile attack and aerial bombardment of most Ukrainian cities, and then launched a full-scale military invasion. The Russian war against Ukraine has been going on for 914 days.
