The Ukrainian added to his sprint victory a medal of the highest standard in the pursuit race among juniors.
On Sunday, August 25, at the 2024 Summer Biathlon World Championships, held in Otepää, Estonia, the junior pursuit race took place.
After victory in yesterday’s sprint race, Ukrainian Vitaly Mandzin took gold in the pursuit. The Ukrainian biathlete covered the distance in 26.44.8 with four penalties, leaving two Norwegians to also take places on the podium.

Four other Ukrainians took part in the race. Bogdan Borkovsky finished one step from the top ten, Sergei Suprun became 13th, Mikhail Khmil – 20th, and Egor Makarenko – 37th.
