Belgorod “Belogorye” defeated Krasnoyarsk “Yenisei” in the group stage match of the Volleyball Legends Cup.
The match in Krasnoyarsk ended with a score of 3:1 (25:23, 25:20, 26:28, 25:21).
“Belogorye” and “Yenisei” play in Group B. In the next match, the Belgorod team will play with “Zenith”, the Krasnoyarsk team will meet with “Dynamo” Moscow. Both matches will take place on August 30 in Moscow.
Group A includes Zenit Kazan, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, Kuzbass Kemerovo and Fakel Yamal of Novy Urengoy.
The teams finishing top two in their group will play in the Final Four. The prize fund of the Legends Cup is 10 million rubles; the tournament is part of the Russian Cup and will end in October.
