Two-time Olympic champion Duplantis sets world record in pole vault at Diamond League stop in Poland

Double Olympic pole vault champion Armand Duplantis set a world record at the Diamond League athletics series in Poland.

On Sunday, during a stage in Chorzow (Poland), the 24-year-old Swedish jumper reached a height of 6.26 m, thus updating his own record. On August 5, at the Paris Olympic Games, he exceeded the bar set at 6.25 m in height.

Duplantis won gold at the 2020 Games in Tokyo and the 2024 Olympics in the French capital. He also has two world championship victories, two gold medals at the world indoor championships, the Swede is a three-time European champion.
