Chelsea could include Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell in Manchester United deal
Chelsea joined the fight for the winger Manchester United Jadon Sancho.
Juventus have previously been the main contenders for the 24-year-old, with the club keen to sign him on loan. Chelsea are reportedly joining the race to snap up Sancho, while the Blues are set to include winger Raheem Sterling and defender Ben Chilwell in a potential deal with Manchester United.
It was previously reported that the Mancunians were ready to consider the option of selling Sancho for 40 million pounds. PSG also showed interest in Jadon in this transfer window.
The player’s current contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2026. The Englishman spent the past season on loan at Borussia D. Sancho played 21 matches for Edin Terzic’s team last season in all competitions. The winger scored three goals, made three assists and reached the 2024 Champions League final with the team.
Chelsea thrashed Wolverhampton 6-2 away in today’s second round of the Premier League. In the next match of the championship, Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudryk’s team will host Crystal Palace on September 1, and before that, on August 29, they will play the return match of the Conference League qualification playoff against Swiss Servette.
