The Swede broke his own record set at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris
Swedish track and field athlete Armand Duplantis continues to break his own world record in pole vaulting – at the Diamond League stage in Silesia he cleared the bar at a height of 6.26 m.
Duplantis set his previous world record of 6.25 m on August 5 at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, becoming a two-time Olympic champion.
Today’s world record break was the tenth in Armand Duplantis’ career.
Let us recall that at the 2024 Diamond League stage in Silesia, Ukraine won two medals: Mykhailo Kokhan won silver in the hammer throw, and Oleg Doroshchuk took bronze in the high jump.
