Dynamo midfielder did not fly with the team to Austria
Head coach Dynamo Alexander Shovkovskiy at a press conference before the return match of the qualifying playoffs Champions League against Salzburg reported that the Kiev midfielder will not be able to play in the upcoming game Vitaly Buyalsky.
“Vitalii Buyal’skiy is not with us – unfortunately, he was not feeling well after the match with Karpaty, his temperature rose. Therefore, in order not to infect the team, he stayed in Ukraine and due to illness did not even join the team in Lublin in preparation for the first game.”
“Plus, Vladimir Shepelev and Maksim Dyachuk, who had an operation, are absent. By the way, three weeks have passed since then, today they removed his bandage, and he is recovering at our base in Kyiv. All other players are ready to go out on the field either from the first minutes or as a substitute, to do everything they can to achieve a result.”
Let us recall that the first, nominally “home” match in Lublin, was lost by Alexander Shovkovsky’s team with a score of 0:2.
The upcoming game will be officiated by a team of referees from Turkey, headed by Umut Meler.
The return match between Salzburg and Dynamo will take place at the Red Bull Arena on Tuesday, August 27. Kick-off is 22:00 Kyiv time.
