2020 Paralympic swimming medallist Elizaveta Sidorenko said she was shocked to see the stands full in the pool during the morning session of the Paris Paralympic Games.

Sidorenko (S10 class) clocked 28.58 seconds in the 50-meter freestyle preliminary heat and did not advance to the final.

“In principle, I swam quite well, but I didn’t have enough time for the final.” I have a mixed class, it’s quite difficult for the selection. I would also like to see our fans in the stands, but they cheer us on TV, our family and friends support us from home,” Sidorenko told .
