President of the Russian Ski Federation (RFSR) Elena Vyalbe said she wanted to see the Olympic champion Natalia Terentieva at the start of the new season.
Before her marriage, Terentyeva performed under the name Nepryaev. Earlier, Natalya’s husband, skier Alexander Terentyev, announced on a social network that the couple had a daughter.
“Our athletes are in a good mood for the new season. Anything can happen, everyone gets sick, everyone gets tired. Every year it’s the same. Everyone wants to compete. This year there is no Spartakiad or similar competitions, so this season there are no competitions in February at the request of the coaches. We will organize training before the Russian championship. I hope that I will see Natalya Terentyeva not only training, but also playing,” the correspondent reports in Vyalba.
Nepryaeva, 28, is the 2022 Olympic relay champion, multiple Olympic and world championship medalist, winner of the Tour de Ski and the overall World Cup. Terentyev, 25, won two bronze medals at the Beijing Olympics.
